The teachings of the Bön Atri (A Khrid), one of the most important spiritual traditions of Bön, guides the practitioner through fifteen step-by-step sessions to stabilize the realization of awakened awareness of primordial wisdom.
Under the direction of Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, participants will assemble for nine days, twice a year, four consecutive years, for intensive study and practice of this profound Bön Dzogchen teaching of spiritual development and liberation.
Participants will study this root text and apply the preliminary and main practices. The daily routine will consist of four sessions of meditation per day, the practice of the Four Generosities and one teaching session. The remaining time will be spent in study, recitation of mantras and other accumulation.
The program will enable practitioners to deepen their experience of the Atri path with daily sessions of skillful meditation sessions that integrate with their nature of mind.
- Participants enrolling in this program will be required to commit to attending the entire four-year program.
- All participants must remain within the boundaries of the retreat center during the program. 2020-2022 retreat sessions will be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
